The year 2011 is the Chinese Lunar year of Rabbit but according to Vietnamese Zodiac the year 2011 is the year of Cat. Here are the recent stamps issued by Vietnam to celebrate the Year of Cat.
The Vietnam Post has issued a set of two stamps commemorating the Year of the Cat. Indeed, according to the Vietnamese horoscope, the year 2011 is Year of the Cat.
The Vietnamese zodiac is almost identical to Chinese zodiac except that the second animal is the water buffalo instead of the ox, the fourth animal is the cat instead of the rabbit and the 8th animal is the goat instead of the sheep. The Vietnamese year of the cat symbolizes sensitivity, gentleness and kindness.
As a matter of fact, there are different kinds of cats in the Vietnamese horoscope. There is the Metal Cat born in 1951 and 2011 and they tend to be resilient, determined and strong.
